Project Overview:
Sage Wealth Advisors offers comprehensive, executive-level financial services tailored to high-net-worth clients, including access to legal, accounting, and business consulting—similar to traditional wealth firms. However, what sets Sage apart is its specialized focus on the professional sports industry, specifically targeting young athletessigning their first major contracts. Recognizing that many sports careers are short-lived or unpredictable, Sage’s mission is to help athletes make smart, long-term investment decisions early to safeguard their futures.

The goal of the branding project was to create a visual identity that reflects both the sophistication of an elite financial firm and the dynamic, forward-looking mindset required to appeal to a younger, high-profile audience entering the world of wealth for the first time.

Design Concept:
The logo design centers around the name “Sage”, a word associated with wisdom, foresight, and sound judgment—all critical traits for effective wealth management. The visual direction conveys trust and intelligence, but with a modern edge to speak to a younger, more dynamic client base.

The typography is clean and elegant, evoking professionalism without rigidity. The incorporation of “Wealth Advisors”beneath the Sage wordmark positions the brand firmly within the financial industry, while the minimalistic approach ensures versatility across platforms—from traditional reports to athlete-focused digital outreach.

Typography & Color Choices:

  • Typography: Modern serif or high-contrast sans-serif fonts convey elegance, authority, and youthfulness in balance

  • Color Palette: A rich, neutral base (e.g., deep navy, paired with subtle metallic gold accents suggests stability, growth, and legacy

  • The tones are chosen to appeal across generations, ensuring the brand speaks both to seasoned investors and younger athletes alike
